Terms of use

Short version: GCarve is free to use as it is. You run your machine, so check every file before you cut. Your projects are yours. Don't abuse the service.

G-code and machine safety

GCarve writes G-code that moves a cutting machine. A wrong setting (bit, depth, board size, zero point, post-processor, feeds and speeds) can break bits, damage your machine or material, or hurt someone. GCarve checks every export for common problems, but those checks can't catch everything and depend on the settings you enter.

You are responsible for how you use the files GCarve makes and for operating your machine.

No warranty

GCarve is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, GCarve and its makers aren't liable for damage to machines, tools, material, property or people, lost work or lost profits arising from using GCarve or the files it makes. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to what you paid for GCarve in the 12 months before the claim.

Your account

Your projects

What you make in GCarve is yours. When you save to the cloud or share bits and machines, we store them only to run the service for you (see Privacy). Delete them, or your whole account, any time.

Paid plans

GCarve is free today. When GCarve Pro and founding memberships open, their price and what they include are shown before you pay; payments run through Stripe. You can cancel a subscription any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.

Changes

GCarve changes often. We may change features, limits or these terms; important changes to these terms are announced on this site or by email to account holders.
