Use a SpaceMouse with GCarve
A SpaceMouse lets one hand turn the board while the other keeps the regular mouse. GCarve supports 3Dconnexion devices in the 3D view and on the drawing.
What it does
In the 3D simulation the puck orbits and zooms the board: twist or tilt to turn it, push and pull to move in and out. On the drawing it pans with a slide and zooms with a lift or press.
Connect it
In Chrome or Edge choose View ▸ Connect a SpaceMouse (or the Mouse menu in the 3D view) and select the device. The desktop apps for Windows, Mac and Linux find it on their own. Other browsers do not allow web pages to talk to the device.
Smooth by design
Real pucks are noisy and a twist always nudges the other axes. GCarve ignores a small dead zone, follows the stronger of turn or slide, and smooths the result, so the board does not jitter when you rotate. If a view ever misbehaves, the 3D Mouse menu can save a trace file you can send us.
Not holding a SpaceMouse?
The 3D view also has Fusion 360, Blender and VCarve mouse styles. See how to V-carve and the VCarve comparison.
Try it on your own job: GCarve is free, runs in your browser and needs no account to try.
