About this project

Four 4 in round coasters with a V-carved star, cut out with tabs from one 10 × 10 in, 1/2 in thick board. A quick first project and a good gift; finish with food-safe oil.

How to make it

1. Open in GCarve: it opens in your browser (or download the .tlp for the desktop app).
2. Make it yours: pick your machine, match the bits to the ones you have and set your board thickness. GCarve fits the toolpaths and suggests feeds for your machine.
3. Simulate the cut in 3D and look it over.
4. Export G-code for your controller and cut it.
